Welcome to the Town of Texas website. The Town of Texas is located in Central Wisconsin just to the northeast of the City of Wausau in Marathon County. The shape of the town is larger than  the normal 36 square mile township. It's shape drops south along the Wisconsin River and gives us a shape like Texas. Our town was organized in 1856
The Town of Texas Town Government exists to provide basic services to protect the public safety, health, growth, and rural life style.
This website is not an official posting of our notices and documents, but is for additional access. Official postings are at the Hewitt-Texas School, Brokaw Corners, and the Town Municipal Center. All official documents reside in the Town offices and Town Municipal Center.
